About Tokara Director's Reserve Red:
Hailing from the Stellenbosch region in South Africa, Tokara Director's Reserve Red is a meticulously crafted blend. The wine utilises a combination of five classic Bordeaux grape varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. The grapes are meticulously selected from the winery's prime vineyard sites, ensuring exceptional quality. Following a meticulous fermentation and ageing process, the wine spends a total of twenty-two months in French oak barrels, a significant portion of which are new. This ageing process adds complexity and depth to the final flavour profile.
